This page is to share some of my pictures of horse training
from years past.
TJ's first group ride and water exposure
I have adopted 4 wild mustang weanlings (between 4 & 6 months old) over
the years from the Wild Horse Sanctuary in Shingletown. I started handling them immediately, did ground work and de-sensitization
for a year, started them under saddle (round pen-walking only) and found great homes for them as 2 1/2 year olds.
I wanted to work with these magnificant animals to learn about horse behavior. There is no better teacher than a mustang!
