The Half Ass Flat Ride (HAFR) is one of the Unit’s main events and our
major fundraiser. We have received many compliments on this ride in Capetown, CA. on the last full weekend in June. The HAFR
is a catered three day event. We lead rides along the beach, up hills to get great views of the Pacific Ocean from
atop the grassy bluffs, or through the North Coast's beautiful scenery. We have a big raffle, enjoy a tasty dinner of

Cost of ride includes: lunch, dinner and the Chase on Saturday; breakfast and the Poker
ride on Sunday. We had great success the last 2 years (2011 cancelled due to EHV) with registration
for the chase that we decided again to have only pre-registration so we will not accept applications
at the gate. Only additional people without vehicles will be added to existing pre-registrations. Space is limited and we will do our best to meet all requests. Dogs must be on leashes. No bicycles, motorcycles, or quads will be
